Catch n' Release
The time has come for Halifax Ultimate's annual Catch n Release tournament! This is a co-ed tournament that always has a great turnout, and an even better party!
When: Aug 28th and 29th.
Where: Halifax Mainland Common All-weather fields
Cost: $400/team.
Teams: 16 max.
Party: Saturday August 28th, Michael's Bar and Grill (HURL's sponsor bar).
Games: 7 games per team.
Selection criteria: We want this to be a diverse tournament, so we'll
be putting heavy weighting on making sure there is a lots of regional
representation.
Deadline for a bid: Thursday, August 19th.

Bar and Grill.
$100 deposit is required to lock down your bid. You can pay via (in order of preference):

If you're interested in playing, but don't have a team, let me know and I'll keep a list of players! Preference will be given to ladies, then guys who bring ladies with them.

1st Annual El Summer SUNbrero!
On Saturday June 5th, Halifax Ultimate will be hosting the first annual Halifax Ultimate co-ed Spring time hat tournament: El Summer SUNbrero! To make things even more enjoyable, the games will be played 5-on-5 with continuous play. We have both all-weather fields in Dartmouth (Burnside) booked from 9am - 5pm that day.
"What's a hat tournament?" you ask. Well, you sign up and we will place you on a team with other fun loving folks. To help make sure everyone has a good time, teams will be formed a day or two prior to the event in order to make the fairest teams possible. The team lists will be posted ahead of time for all participants to see.
Please invite anyone in any Ultimate community, whether they are in Halifax or other great cities around: Fredericton, St John, Moncton, St John's, etc. All skill levels are welcome!!!
Prizes to be donated by VC Ultimate, Picaroons, and Mike's Hard Lemonade among others. More details to come, including party info!

9th Annual Tournament of Fools
When: March 27/28th
Where: Wickwire field at Dalhousie University - Halifax, NS
Details: The Dalhousie/Kings ultimate team will once again be hosting Tournament of Fools. This is a great opportunity to get your league team together before the summer gets here and to kick of the winter rust.
Cost of the tournament is $300/team.
