2013 Spring Indoor 7v7 - TEAM ENTRY

Halifax Ultimate will be organizing a new Spring indoor 7v7 indoor league with both team and individual player entry. There will be room for 12 total teams, 8 of which are set reserved for full teams, and 4 for to be made up of players who registered individually. Each team of individuals will have 2 full lines worth of players (8 men and 6 women).

General league info:
- Registration opens on Monday, Feb 11th @ 7pm.
- This league will run on Wed and Thurs nights from March 20th until May 30th, with games happening at either: 8-8:55, 9-9:55, or 10-10:55. Game schedules will be balanced over the length of the league to ensure a balance of early vs late games.
- Teams will have only one game per week.
- Team fees are $486.96 + tx ($560). On a team with 2 full lines, the cost works out to $40/person.
- First 8 teams to register AND pay get in. All others will be waitlisted. - Teams must have a minimum of 6 men and 5 women.
- All games will be held on at Soccer NS' indoor turf facility in Clayton Park.
- All games are 55 minutes in length. Games are to end exactly at the game's scheduled end time, regardless of when the game started. If the disc in the air when time is up, the game is over regardless of if the disc is caught.
- Games will be of standard Ultimate format. There will be a pull after each point, and subs can only be made between points. - The gender ratio is always 4:3 unless both captains agree to change it.
- Each team can use one 45 second timeout per game. No timeouts can be called in the last 5 minutes of the game: doing so results in a turnover.
- All overhanging objects at the field are considered out of bounds. If the disc hits any of these objects, it is put into play at that location. If the disc is already out of bounds when it hits an out of bounds object, it is put into play at the point closest to where it first became out of bounds.
- To be 100% sure there will be cones to use, anyone with cones should take them to the games.

Roster rules:
- Teams are only allowed to use players who are on their roster. If you intend to use a player as a sub, please add them to your roster as a sub. There are no pickups allowed and there is no pickup list. If any issues arise due to this, the rule will be revisited.
