Tuesday Indoor Competitive and Recreational 6v6 Draft
Halifax Ultimate is the home for both competitive and recreational players and this league will accomodate all comers, from brand new players to high level competitive players.
Here is how it works. When you register, please indicate whether you would prefer to play in the competitive division, the recreational division or if you are happy to play in either. Once registration has been completed, competitive teams will be formed from those players who opted for competitive or either competitive or recreational. Once those teams have been finalized, any player who has not been placed on a competitive team will be included in the recreational pool. Both leagues will be 6v6 continuous play, with a 3:3 gender ratio.
If you have opted exclusively for competitive and have not been placed on a competitive team, you will be given the option to participate in the recreational league or receive a full refund.
Recreational players will then be divided into balanced teams, with experienced captains leading the teams. The recreational division will start with 1-2 weeks of clinics to bring everyone up to speed. After these clinics, we will run a full league, with a focus on fun, inclusive ultimate.
This is a new league structure for Halifax Ultimate. If you are unsure as to how you should register, please reach out to us at info@halifaxultimate.ca and we will answer any questions you have.
This league will run from March 17th through May 26th.
